Product Introduction
1. General Provisions
The YBM Series European-style Box Substation (hereinafter referred to as the "Box Substation") is a compact, pre-assembled distribution device formed by combining high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage distribution equipment in a specific wiring configuration. It is suitable for urban public distribution networks, high-rise buildings, residential communities, industrial enterprises, ports, oil fields, parks, highways, construction sites, and other locations. It has passed all type tests including dynamic and thermal stability tests at the West High Voltage Research Institute. It is a recommended product for the national urban and rural grid construction and renovation projects by the Ministry of Commerce. Currently, it is widely used in urban and rural power grids across the country.
2. Structural Features and Uses
This product is divided into three major functional compartments: high-voltage room, transformer room, and low-voltage room. Each compartment is fully functional, with a reasonable structure and reliable component performance.
(1) High-voltage Distribution Device (High-voltage Room)
The high-voltage room consists of high-voltage cabinets that form the primary power supply system. It can be configured for ring network power supply, terminal power supply, dual power supply, and other supply modes, and can also meet the requirements for high-voltage metering.
The high-voltage components may include air-blast load switches, SF6 high-voltage load switches, vacuum circuit breakers, etc. The selected air-blast or SF6 load switches produced by the Italian company VEI make the cabinet structure more compact, safer, more reliable in operation, and nearly the same price as similar domestic products.
The high-voltage room is equipped with full "Five Protection" functions, and the grounding interlock is safe and reliable.
It can be equipped with high-voltage surge arresters, live display devices, and other protective components. The high-voltage switches can be operated manually or electrically and can also support remote operation or monitoring.
(2) Transformer Room
The transformer can be selected from our self-produced S9-M, S11-M series low-loss oil-immersed fully sealed transformers, or more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient SG(B)10, SG(B)11 series dry-type transformers.
The transformer room can be equipped with rails so that the transformer can enter or exit from either side of the large door, facilitating installation, maintenance, and replacement on-site.
The transformer room is equipped with aluminum alloy or stainless steel guardrails and safety warning signs. It is also equipped with an automatic temperature control system and a ventilation fan at the top to "automatically" control the temperature of the transformer room, increasing air convection to lower the room temperature.
(3) Low-voltage Room
The low-voltage room uses modular CUBIC frame or welded aluminum-zinc sheet structures for the low-voltage cabinet body, ensuring stability, flexibility, and safety.
It can meet different power supply requirements, such as power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power compensation, and energy metering.
(4) Enclosure
The enclosure can be made from environmentally friendly non-metallic materials, cold-rolled steel plates, stainless steel plates, etc., according to the user's requirements. It undergoes multiple anti-corrosion processes and is electrostatically sprayed to ensure excellent corrosion, waterproof, and dustproof performance, offering long service life and aesthetic appearance.
The top cover of the enclosure is double-layered and is made of "color-coated steel plate and flame-retardant heat-insulating material" or glass-reinforced tiles, forming an eaves shape. The box substation is aesthetically pleasing, has strong heat insulation and fire resistance, and performs well in rain protection.
Our environmentally friendly non-metallic enclosures are unique. The walls and roof are made of "alkali-resistant fiberglass reinforced special cement and other eco-friendly additives," and the doors are made of "color-coated steel plates and flame-retardant heat-insulating materials." Therefore, this environmentally friendly non-metallic enclosure has the following characteristics:
A. Strong radiation and sun exposure resistance, excellent heat insulation and fire resistance.
B. High mechanical tensile, bending strength, and good impact resistance.
C. Excellent crack resistance, frost resistance, moisture resistance, and corrosion resistance, with no condensation under extreme weather changes.
D. Strong weathering resistance, suitable for "all-weather" operation, long service life, and maintenance-free.
E. Easy to lift and transport, with lifting devices mounted on both sides of the bottom of the enclosure.
F. Wide selection of decorative colors to match the surrounding environment.
To facilitate monitoring and maintenance, the transformer room, high-voltage room, and low-voltage room are all equipped with lighting devices, controlled by doors.
(5) Usage
The YBM Series Box Substation has the advantages of compact structure, strong modularity, excellent fire resistance and heat insulation, strong radiation and sun exposure resistance, reliable operation, easy maintenance, and aesthetic appearance. It is especially economical, occupying less land, offering flexible site selection, easy mobility, short construction periods, and low investment, making it the first choice for urban and rural grid distribution equipment.
