Ensure the Construction of Egypt's Railways and Contribute to the Country's Belt and Road Initiative

As an ancient civilization and a key country along the "Belt and Road", the opening of the Cairo Metro Line will significantly enhance transportation capacity between the Egyptian capital and major new cities, playing a vital role in the urban development of Cairo. It will also serve as a positive model for the Middle East, the Arab world, and African countries. The company provided the most critical 27.5kV high-altitude overhead GIS switchgear for the railway's traction power supply system, ensuring reliable power supply for the safe and stable operation of high-speed trains.

To ensure the smooth operation of the A and B sections of the Shizhong City Railway in Egypt, Changsai Company's project management team and technical staff led by Ma Jinqiao analyzed the challenges of travel and overseas work during the pandemic. By considering local travel conditions in Changzhou and the epidemic prevention requirements in Egypt, they developed a travel plan and on-site work scheme that ensured safe arrival while meeting all safety standards and time efficiency. This approach not only met the demands of on-site work but also provided valuable experience for overseas services during the pandemic. Following pre-powering debugging and equipment inspections, the GIS switchgear received power with seamless coordination between the technical support team and on-site personnel.

The 27.5kV plateau-type overhead GIS switchgear is suitable for direct railway power supply. The company has provided this equipment on multiple lines, and on June 25,2021, it was successfully put into operation on the world's highest-altitude passenger dedicated line, the Lhasa to Nyingchi Passenger Dedicated Line, with stable performance. The Lijiang to Shangri-La Passenger Dedicated Line also uses this equipment, which has also successfully entered the international market. In the recent Egypt Ramadan 10th City Railway Project, the 27.5kV plateau-type GIS overhead switchgear produced by the company was used. The test data fully met the IEC standard requirements, earning the trust of Egyptian users and accumulating valuable experience for the overseas expansion of the product. This has successfully contributed to the national "Belt and Road" initiative.
